The way we do politics is changing.

To weather the gathering storm our Party needs an authentic and experienced working-class voice on the NEC, representing the views of not just our grassroots CLP membership, but of ordinary people from communities across the country.

That is why I am putting myself forward as a CLP Representative (Division III).

As a successful Campaign Organiser in Dagenham and Rainham, I worked with members to see off the populist right in all its guises, and organising my ward this year we achieved the second highest majority over Reform in Barking and Dagenham.

My politics is one of pragmatism and straight talking; born on the markets of east London and shaped on the streets of Dagenham. The restoration of our industrial heartlands, increasing working-class representation, and ensuring honesty and integrity across the democratic process are central to my politics.

As a councillor in Barking and Dagenham I specialise in housing and climate change, and I serve as Chair of Overview & Scrutiny. From planting a forest to leading an in-depth review into SEND provision, I am proud of my achievements.

For me, the next big narratives need to be about skilled work – the upskilling of a nation, social housing – the foundations to succeed, and the renationalisation of utilities – power literally back in the hands of working people.

I am a member of Unite the Union and the GMB and have worked in a senior role for the local MP since 2012 - press, policy, campaigns, and speech writing. I also stood in Romford at the 2024 general election, significantly slashing the Tory majority.

I will be on your ballot this summer. Get me on the NEC and together, we can start to tell a story people believe in again.
